Cookie Packets for United Way!

One of the things I love about going to Oklahoma City to see my family is going out with my sisters to a really neat store called My Heart's Fancy! We manage to hit that place at least once a month and do a make and take. Totally fun, with creative ideas and new techniques! The little Halloween treat bag was one of their make and takes. So, last weekend, Sandra and I sat down and made a lot of these. Some for her, some for me. I made mine for our Bake Sale coming up October 29, 2010 at the ONEOK Building, lower level. We are planning on stuffing the bags with two cookies (as there are two slots) and hoping to make money for United Way! I'd love to say this was my design, but alas, I can't. But it is so cute! I'm looking forward to seeing how the sales are at our Bake Sale!
Thanks for stopping by. By the way, My Hearts Fancy's blog link is posted here, so stop by and see them as well. They love visitors too!

Happy Anniversary

WOW, that is all I can say about this card. I has an oriental motif in golden browns and teals, with a hemp string bow. Just so cute. And, I happen to know the person who received it really loved it. Fun to make. Enjoy!

I think that I am now ready to try a card challenge and see if I am up to the standards of others in this unique crafting circle! Look for that soon! Thanks for visiting me. I always appreciate your visits and if you desire, your posts!

Season's Greetings

This is my third design for this 2010 Christmas Season. Season's greetings is chocolate brown cardstock with white cardstock insert. It is cut in a elegant label design with the stamp of trees stamped with chocolate ink. It then is embossed with snow on the trees and ground. The inside of the card has an elegant white label with "May the peace and joy of the season be with you all through the year". There are 3 pearls at the bottom and sides of the card and a gold ribbon knot at the top.

This comes in packs of 12 with envelopes for $22.00. All orders can be placed by notifying me either through my website by leaving a note or by sending me an email at readngadventures@sbcglobal.net . I require 1/2 down for total cost of order. The balance will be required to be paid before card sets ship. All cards will be shipped by November 15, 2010. Shipping is actual cost of mailing. Mailing material will either be bubble wrapped in box or bubble mailer, depending upon the size of your order. Thanks for taking the time to look at my 2010 Designs.

Blessed Birth

While I love to make fun cute cards for the Christmas Season, there wouldn't be a Christmas in my world with recognizing the birth of Christ. So, this lovely Nativity card is a reflection of my belief that Christ was born to live on this earth, died on a cross, buried behind a stone and on third day arose and now sits at the right hand of God. It is white on white on white. White cardstock, white embossed cardstock, embossed with ribbons of holly, white webbon and a small white nativity stamped in sepia and color washed with green for the clothes and purple for the blanket. The halos are actually gold, don't they stand out beautifully.

This is the second of my 2010 Christmas season cards. If you are interested in purchasing a set of 12 with envelopes, the price is $20.00 for the set. All orders will be completed and shipped by November 15th, unless otherwise notified. Just e-mail me at readngadventures@sbcglobal.net and I'll respond with 24 hours. Thanks again for visiting.
